From a photograph by the artist.  I am fascinated by old boats with character, those that show the wear and tear of a working career at sea.  This one was lying in proud repose on the sand at Princeton Harbor in Northern California.  This painting won the International Port of Coos Bay Award at the 9^th Annual Maritime Art Exhibit at the Coos Art Museum, Coos Bay, Oregon, in 2002.
