"Just Give Me a Breeze" SOLD
Original: Oil on canvas, 16" x 24"
Giclee print: 13" x 20" image on 350# Arches paper
From a photograph taken by the artist during the July 4, 2000, Tall Ships Parade on San Francisco Bay. The title is from “Fiddler’s Green” by John Conolly – “I don’t want a harp nor a halo, not me/Just give me a breeze and a good rolling sea.” The Sea is a magnet that challenges men to raise their sails and set a course away from the wearisome tasks of everyday life.
